SOCIAL REJECTION

"The reason why people care so much about his/her status and the relationships with others in society is because making more offsprings to survive, making other member are willing to offer food, hunting, and offer the protection is important, strong connections are the key of surviving (p.17)“{10}



網路球實驗證明了感到被他人排斥的時候大腦被測前扣帶皮層活躍度升高，這部分區域會讓人產生痛苦的感覺，人類在經歷受人排斥等等的社會傷害與物理傷害一樣讓人感到痛苦。同一個研究中發現如果讓受試者服用止痛藥時，竟能降低大腦的對因遭到社會排斥而感到痛苦的敏感度。{11}


The social rejection experiment shows that dACC would be active when people feel being rejected by others. The feeling is the same with physical pain. the experiment also found out that painkiller can reduce the pain of social rejection. {11}
